Welcome to the O'Neal family history site.

This site traces the history of one part of the O'Neal family which starts with a tenuous link back to County Tyrone, Ireland with the birth of James William in 1825. The story moves to India, where the family settled, long term. The family then spread across the world, with one branch moving to Australia, and another to England. The main focus of this history is with this branch. James William's second son, James Robert moved to England in the 1870's. From here part of the family moves to the USA. The story of that side of the family is for others to tell, while this site focuses on the family that continued in England.

I have included separate tabs for James' writing and Pat's art, as these seem significant in their own right.
